After watching a plethora of TV shows and movies, I've started noticing one understated article of clothing showing up in almost everything I watch - the Red Plaid Shirt. For example...
Anne Hathaway - Brokeback Mountain
Zooey Deschanel - New Girl
And of course the King of Red Flannel himself...Clark Kent (Smallville)
Alright, so most of those were from TV shows instead of films, but you get the idea. I had originally shied away from the idea of wearing such apparel as I didn't want to be called a 'country girl' (then again, I do live in Nashville.) Pair it with a pair of jeans and I guess it's inevitable! Clichéd, but comfortable. So I decided to romp around our downtown Bicentennial Mall in my new-found flannel. It is extremely comfortable, so in conclusion....I'm sold! :)
